What would happen if it is open/ no signal at channel A of SN74GTL2014 and DIR pin is High ( A to B ) ?

In the worst case, this can damage the device; see footnote (1) in the recommended operating conditions table.

If it is possible that an input floats, you should add pull-up or pull-down resistors or bus-hold circuits.

Hello Woon,

As Clemens said, having inputs floating can result in device damage. To prevent this, make sure the inputs are held to VCC or GND by adding pull-ups or pull-downs.
