SN74LV244A: When Vcc is lower than 2V

Part Number: SN74LV244A

Hi team,

My customer has question about the device output when Vcc is lower than 2V.

  1. Is the guarantee of the Ioff function (output pin Hi-Z) applied only to VCC = 0V?
  2. If the above recognition is correct, what is the state of the output pin at VCC = 0 to 2V (the lowest value of the operating supply voltage)?

Regards,

Ohashi

  • When /OE is low, there can be a range of supply voltages (between somewhere above 0 V and somewhere below 2 V) where correct operation is not guaranteed.

But when /OE is high, the outputs are always guaranteed to be off.
