TXS0102: OE pin pull up and pull down resistor

Hi,

I use TXS0102 for the tx rx pins of the BG95M3 GPS&GSM integrated circuit. In the datasheet of TXS0102, it tells me to pull down the OE pin, but in the datasheet of BG95M3, it says that I need to add pull down and pull up resistors. Should I add an extra pull up resistor? I shared the circuit, can you check it?

That schematic creates a voltage divider, for a voltage of about 1.66 V. This is a valid high level, but does not appear to be useful.

If you do not care about the state of the outputs during power up, you do need a pull-up/-down resistor.

In the BG95M3 datasheet, used 120k and 10k resistors on the eight pins of the same product, just like I did. What do you recommend the oe pin to be? pull up or pull down? Should the OE pin be connected to the MCU?

That depends on when you want to enable or disable the device. If it should always be enabled, connect OE directly to VCCA.

Hello,

I agree with Clemens' answer here. The OE pin can be tied directly to VCCA/ MCU without issues (so long as you do not care about what state the outputs are during boot up).
