Should unused pins (for example 3A8 and 3B8) be opened?

And if I don't do that, will I get into trouble?

Unused outputs can be left open.

The 3A pins have bus-hold circuits, so if they are inputs, they can be left open.
All other inputs should have a valid voltage (low or high).

See footnote (1) of the recommended operating conditions table.

Pull-up or pull-down resistors are one mechanism to ensure a valid voltage. You can also connect them directly to V_CC or GND.
