SN74LS257B: LTSpice Model For Component

Part Number: SN74LS257B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN54LS257B,

Hello, I am working on creating a simulated model for SN74LS257B (really it's SN54LS257B). I cannot locate a spice mode for the life of me. I have tried creating a component based off of the schematic provided in the Datasheet, but I feel as if I'm missing something.

Quadruple 2-Line To 1-Line Data Selectors/Multiplexers datasheet

My first question is does anyone have a spice model for 'LS257B?

  • Hi Chad,

We don't have a spice model and I can't find one anywhere else.

Digital ICs like this tend to be really difficult to simulate in SPICE. Have you considered using ngspice instead? Digital simulation is much easier there.

    Best,

    Malcolm
