Is it possible to apply input signals to the SN74LVC1T45DRLR above the power levels not exceeding 5V?
I would like to power VCCA=VCCB=3.3V, so that the VIHmin=2V because usually the inputs will receive 3.3V logic levels.
However my application requires the possibility to accept 5V logic levels as well.
Therefore, Is it safe to apply 5V input logic to the SN74LVC1T45DRLR with VCCA=VCCB=3.3V?
Hi Alejandro,
Yes, this is okay.
Please see [FAQ] Can the input voltage (Vi) to my logic device be higher than the supply voltage (Vcc)? for more information, thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
