TXS0108E: Logic forum

Part Number: TXS0108E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0104E

Hi,

We find there are the internal resistor in the TXS0108E between the A and B for the Bias design, but there are no internal resistor in the TXS0104E,

We consider the TXS0108E and TXS0104E has the same internal design but only the different channel, so please kindly advise the funciton of the R1 and R2, thanks.

Please refer to below is the TXS0108E Architecture:

  • Hey Zhang,

R1 and R2 in this case model the on resistance of the internal Npass FET. It is on the order of 300 Ω to 500 Ω.

The TXS0108E and TXS0104E's architecture is similar, but not identical. Note that the TXS0108E contains two independent one-shots capable of controlling PFET during rising edge and NFET for falling edge that will allow the 8-ch device to achieve higher data rates (110Mbps compared to 24Mbps) then the TXS0104E (which only has one one-shot system controlling both the NFET and PFET).

    Regards,

    Jack

  • Hi Jack,

This is very clear to explained our question, thanks for your kindly support.
