TXB0108: 1.2V to 3.3V level shift

Hello expert.

I have a question for TXB0108.
Please tell me.

Is it possible to use for i/f of 1.2 V and 3.3 V systems level shift in TXB0108?
I am worried because VCCA min is 1.2 V and not 1.15 V and 1.2 V of Electrical Characteristics has only typ. spec.

For 1.2 V, the datasheet indeed does not specify any guaranteed limits. For practical purposes, the minimum usable supply voltage is 1.8 V.

What kind if signals do you want to translate? In most application, it is possible to use the TXU0104/TXU0204/TXU0304.

Hello Clemens-san

There are roughly two types of signals. Both assume a slow signal, and these direction are not decided.
One is GPIO, which has no specific purpose. I/O will be determined by debugging in the future.
On the other hand, the 1.2 V side signals are output only around the rising of nRST, and they are input at the other time.
Then, I will use TXB device, if possible.

If the signals are slow, then the lack of guaranteed limits will not matter.

But note that TXB outputs have a very low drive strength (at all supply voltages); this might be not enough for what is usually expected of a GPIO signal.
