SN74LVC1G17-Q1: Schmitt-Trigger Buffer current consumption

Part Number: SN74LVC1G17-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC2G17-Q1,

I am looking at the SN74LVC1G17-Q1 and the SN74LVC2G17-Q1 as a Schmitt-Trigger Buffer for my design. I would assume that the two parts are very similar silicon just doubled up for the 2G variant. Looking at the datasheets though, the 1G has double the max Icc that the 2G does, 20uA on the 1G and 10uA on the 2G, and that does not make a lot of sense to me.

Am I reading this correctly? Is there a reason I am missing for the difference in current?

Thank you for any insight into this.
