Hi,

I try to use a SN74LV1T125DBVR in my design as an interface between a 3.3V CMOS device and a 5V TTL device.

I use it like this :

Input A > pin 2 > GPIO Signal 0V or 3.3V

Ouput Y > pin 4 > GPIO Signal 0V or 5V

VCC > pin 5 > VCC = 5Vdc with 100nF Ceramic capacitor

GND > pin 3 > GND

OE > pin 1 > to GND

When I use the devoce like this It doesn't work ?

Have you an idea please ?

Your description does not match the schematic.

Anyway, what exactly do you mean with "doesn't work"? What is the output voltage, and what voltage do you expect?

Hi Fabrice,

Similar to Clemens’ feedback please help note that the output voltage would be similar to VCC. Hence, schematic shows 5 V to 3.3 V translation, thanks.

I fact I think I find the issue, the output must be follow the input but in 5V like the VCC, and it wasn't that. The output is connected to a FPGA pin like a GPIO and this one was in High impedance. When I change that the component work like I want.
