TIBPAL20L8-20M: 5962-8767101LX vs TIBPAL20L8-20MJTB vs M38510/50501BLA

Part Number: TIBPAL20L8-20M

Hello,

We are looking at procuring part 5962-8767101LX which was TI part TIBPAL20L8-20MJTB. This part was procured many years ago and is now marked as obsolete, but we need to procure some more for an old product. Do you now sell TI part TIBPAL20L8-20MJTB through orderable P/N M38510/50501BLA?

Can you please explain the differences between ordering parts through these three orderable P/Ns?

TIBPAL20L8-20MJTB
5962-8767101LX (or 5962-8767101LA)
M38510/50501BLA

Thank you,
Jasmine Guzman

  • Hello again,

Can you also please confirm if the part we receive under orderable P/N M38510/50501BLA is 20ns part and not 30ns part?

    Thank you,

    Jasmine

  • These numbers refer to different military qualifications.

What exactly are you referring to with 20 ns and 30 ns? The -15C part has a propagation delay of at most 15 ns; the -20M part, 20 ns; the difference is probably only due to the temperature range. The M38510/50501BLA is described in the Standard Microcircuit Drawing 8412901LA, which specifies the tpd as 30 ns max, but with different test specifications and over the full military temperature range. I suspect all these devices have the same specifications when used under the same conditions.
