Hello Team,

Device types 01 and 02 have some different electrical characteristics; see the SMD.
As far as I can see, the main difference in the SMD is that only 01 is radiation tested. But as mentioned in the linked question, TI's radiation report is for the 02 device.
Clemens,
I think 02 is tested for radiation not the 01, can you confirm? 02 is costlier compare to 01.

Mitesh
Hi Mitesh,
Please see from the SMD file. The 02 device is tested for radiation, and qualified to go into space applications where as the 01 device is not, and only qualified for military operations.
Regards,
Owen
But section 1.5 says that the 01 device is tested for radiation. Is this one wrong?
Clemens,
Radiation and reliability report is talking about 5962-8762402VCA that means only 02 is tested and only DIP package tested not the CFP package. Which one is correct datasheet or radiation report?
Also I would like to know for which reason 02 is costlier compare to 01 if only 01 is tested for radiation? Also there is no 03 part is visible on website, lots of confusion around this part.
Pls. Clarify.
Regards
Mitesh
Hi Mitesh,
The SMD report is not maintained by our team. This appears to be a mistake on whoever (DLA database) is maintaining that document. The 02 type device is radiation tested as shown by it's Radiation & reliability report available on it's product page which is the cause for the difference in price. The 01 device is not.

Owen
