SN74LVC1T45: Leakage Current

Part Number: SN74LVC1T45

Tool/software:

Hi expert,

Customer used SN74LVC1T45 and find the leakage current is quite larger than our spec e.g. it might be 3xuA,7xuA or 3xxuA.

Here is the test condition:

V_1V8 = 0V, V_BAT = 3V, pin 4 MCU_32KHz=0V

May I clarify with you what would be expected leakage current spec should we refer to based on customer's condition? Is the below yellow highlighted 2uA or others?

Please advise might goes wrong and/or where can we check?

Regards,

Allan

  • Hello Allan,

    3xxuA is quite large for ICCB. Let me talk with the team to see if we can recreate the customer's design and I can reply back tomorrow.

    One solution that can help is adding a weak pull-down to the I/O.

    Josh

  • Hi Allan,

    I suspect 0 V is not exactly 0 V as MCU seems to be toggling. Hence, with an amplitude.

    If not 0 V we can not guarantee otherwise as 0 V is the spec shown in the datasheet i.e. VCCB = 0 V or GND and Vi = VccB in your case or 0V / GND, thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Michael.
