Such as below show Vccb is 5V，B2 short to gnd，and the limit current is 50mA，does damage the IC？

The absolute maximum ratings allow up to 50 mA, so this is OK (just barely).

But why do you want to minimize the resistance?

beacuse of output has parasitic capacitance（~300pF），output PWM frequency is 800KHz.

if the resistance is too large，will increase output rise time.

Hello Ling,

Like Clemens said, this should be fine but 50mA is the limit. I would recommend slightly increasing the resistor to maybe 110 Ω so we are not at the 50mA limit.
