TXS0108E: VCCA question

Part Number: TXS0108E

Tool/software:

Hi,

I found there have a revise F change VCCA from 1.2V to 1.4V,

May I know there have some design change on TXS0108E?

We have applied some sample with below marking seem still work in 1.2V. Would you please help check it before PCN or after PCN? thanks!

  • To quote an earlier post:

Data was collected under certain conditions that suggested marginal performance of the device for Vcca < 1.4V. It was determined upon further investigation that there could be limited cases where, if Vcca <1.4V, the device would not perform as expected. In order to best move forward with the datasheet as a guarantee of performance, it is best to reduce the operating range of the device to eliminate the possibility of device malfunction.

This is an electrical specification change, however, there are no changes to the package composition or silicon used and therefore existing designs with VCCA > 1.4V will continue to operate as expected. For designs that exist where 1.2V < VCCA <1.4V, they may still continue to operate, however there is a limited risk that depending on how a particular device is processed, it may not meet the previous datasheet limit, and therefore operation of the device for VCCA <1.4V is a risk.

  • Hi Clemens,

But for above making device, may I know  it before PCN or after PCN? thanks!

  • It does not matter. To repeat what was written in the quote, the device has not changed, only the datasheet was corrected.

  • Got it, thanks!
