LSF0102: Electrical Characteristics (VOH, VOL, VIH,VIL) for IO compatibility analysis

Part Number: LSF0102

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I am using LSF0102 between LMK(1V8) series clock buffer & Ethernet Switch(3V3)

To perform DEVICE compatibility analysis i am in need of IO characteristics which is not available in datasheet of LSF part.

Could you please advice on it.

Regards

Dharma

  • Hey Dharma,

The LSF0102 does not spec. the logic thresholds because the device is a passive translator. For input signals below VREFA, the input switch will become closed and for input signals above VREFA, the input switch will be open.

VOL can be estimated through the following equation: VOL = VIL + IOL * RON as discussed in this app note.

In any case, if your signals are fixed direction per ch., a fixed direction/ dir-cntrl translators will be a much more robust solution.
