For SN74LVC1G07DBVR, customer would like to understand more details regarding SOT-23 package outline mentioned in the page.28 of the datasheet.
1) Does ever SN74LVC1G07DBVR unit contain this support pin or not?
2) What exactly is the functions for this support pin?

    1. Both are possible. Different assembly sites might use different lead frames.

    2. It holds the lead frame during manufacturing. But I suspect it's not necessary, and it's only there because the same lead frame is used for 5-pin and 6-pin devices.
