SN74AVC4T245: SN74AVC4T245RSVR with 1.2V

Part Number: SN74AVC4T245
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AXC4T245

Tool/software:

Dear Technical Support Team,

Dose SN74AVC4T245RSVR have margin for VCCA =1.2V?

It seems that it's operating with 1.2V⇔3.3V level shift on the board.

According to the datasheet page 1, it can allow for 1.2V.

ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー

"The SN74AVC4T245 is optimized to operate with VCCA/VCCB set at 1.4V to 3.6V. It is operational with VCCA/VCCB as low as 1.2V. This allows for universal low-voltage bidirectional translation between any of the 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V voltage nodes."

ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー

However "5.3 Recommended Operating Conditions" shows 1.2V(min) and it seems not to have margin on "5.7 Switching Characteristics: VCCA = 1.2V".

For example, "5.8 Switching Characteristics: VCCA = 1.5V ± 0.1V" has margin.

PS. Some E2E post said that the supply goes under the minimum specification then operation is not guaranteed. They recommended using the SN74AXC4T245.
