Hello,
I was just reading the datasheet for the SN74LVC1T45 and it lists the maximum data rates in a somewhat confusing way. I think I understand it, but I want to explain an example and verify that I understand:
If I am going from 5V, 3.3V, or 2.5 to 1.8V (from VccB to VccA) or in the other direction from 1.8V to 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V (VccA to VccB) then the max data rate is still only 75Mbps for all levels that translate TO 1.8V?
It seems that there would be a difference between the max data rate for the lower end of translation (i.e. I would assume 75Mbps is a worst case of translating from 5V to 1.8V but that the rate would actually be higher for 2.5V to 1.8V) Could someone please elaborate on the meaning of this spec?
Thanks!
Brian
