1.Your suggestion for using a discrete Low Vgs threshold MOSFET for Hi to Low translation was welcome.

Perhaps the one issue could be that if Vil is Low Voltage on the 15 V side; the Vil for the 3.3 side can not be less

than that. Is my reading correct

For example a 1.5 to 2 V for a 0-15 V range may be considered as Low, but the same may not be true for a 3.3 V scale

2. How about CD4010B--Q1

    DS species operating Voltage from 3 to 18 V

   Prop delay for 15 to 5 are quite low, what value can I expect for 15 to 3.4 ?
