Are there any restrictions on using it on satellites?

    Normal devices are not space rated. In particular, they are not protected against outgassing or radiation.

    You would need a device like the SN54AHC244-SP.

    We are understanding about outgassing and radiation.

    We would like to confirm whether there are any using restrictions by TI regarding the use of automotive grade products in space applications.

    TI does not forbid you from trying to do this. But when you exceed the recommended operating conditions, then correct operation is no longer guaranteed.
