Hi, this question is not specifically about the part number stated above, but more of understanding Schmidt Trigger. I read this application note and saw this statement highlighted in yellow.
May I know in which condition the VT+ min and VT- max will overlap?

  • This does not happen for the SN74LVC1G17, even in the worst case.

    But it would be possible for some other device to have wider tolerances, so that, for exampe, one chip has VT− = 2.6 V and VT+ = 3.6 V, while another chip has VT− = 1.4 V and VT+ = 2.4 V. (Each individual chip still has a hysteresis of 1 V.)
