I work for BAE Systems Rochester and need some help identifying a part we have on our BOM.
The P/N is - SN74HC4040DRG4.
I can find the P/N SN74HC4040DR (without G4 suffix) however for accuracy I need to make sure we understand what the G4 means.
Could you 1. Please tell me what G4 suffix on a part number means, and 2. tell me whether part number 'SN74HC4040DRG4' is still an active part?
