Hi,

There is an error when run programming, the temporary configuration is successful, but when the permanent configuration is performed, the configuration fails, as shown in the figure below. 
Continuing with the temporary configuration, the same error will occur. 
After we tried to replace a new EVM and programming tool, or use another TPLD1201, the result was that temporary or permanent configuration could not be performed.

I'm not sure what could cause this. Could you send me your sysconfig file and the version of ICS you're using?

What was the resolution here? Just received a new TPLD1201-RWB-EVM-RevE2 and having same problem.

Hi Bob, please email the logic team with your sysconfig file, ICS version, and description of the error. We're not seeing what could cause this and need more information from someone experiencing this error.

Hi Ian,

Same error as you see above.

I changed the IC and am sure of pin 1.

Here is the ICS version.

Hi Bob, Ruzhen,

We believe we have found the problem - this is an outdated version of ICS. We recommend downloading the most recent version from My Secure Resources. This should fix the issue.

OK now the boards I have both load and I get a programming successful message, yet the TPLD1201 EVM Demo does not run as it did with an earlier board and GUI. How to get it to start the oscillator, etc?

Hi Bob,

Without more details its hard to diagnose the problem, but my instinct is the wrong package may be selected in ICS. In the ICS menu, please make sure that the correct package is selected before opening the demo.

HI Ian,

Yes I even tried 2 different boards (RWB and DGS) and selected the proper package. Also tried 2 different dongles with same results. All were received from TI stock over the past few weeks. All act the same. as described above, load goes fine and I get the "programming successful" message but no flashing lights with the EVM demo.

I seem to remember with prior board and older rev GUI seeing flashing lights on the EVM as it was being loaded, but not seeing that now, only light on is PWR from start to finish
