SN74AHCT1G125: SN74AHCT1G125

Part Number: SN74AHCT1G125
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G125-EP, CD74HCT125, SN74LVC1T45-EP

Tool/software:

SN74AHCT1G125DCKR is rated for -40 to 125 deg. C, not sure if this device will function at -55 deg C ambient temperature?

Or do you have minimum -55 deg. C to 125 deg. C rated same rating part or not?

Thanks. Look forward to hearing from you when convenient.

  • When the limit is specified as −40 °C, then this means that the limit is −40 °C, not −55 °C.

The most similar device with a −55 °C rating is the SN74LVC1G125-EP.

  • Thanks. Clemens, for this device, SN74LVC1G125-EP. if the input is 3.3V with a 5V Vcc,

Will this 3.3V input be recognized as high or a low input to this SN74LVC1G125-EP device,

this is because from the related datasheet of this device (see attached datasheet copy),

the Vih minimum value is 0.7*Vcc, which is 0.7*5V=3.5V, so 3.3V will be recognized as logic High or Logic Low?

    Thanks.

  • Another question regarding this input voltage logic level for a 5V Vcc condition,

Form the related datasheet for this SN74LVC1G125-EP. device, for the input voltage range between 1.5 V (0.3*5V) to 3.5V(0.7*5V) range, how  this SN74LVC1G125-EP device treats this input signal voltage which is between 1.5 V (0.3*5V) to 3.5V(0.7*5V) range as high or low?

    Thanks

    yenwu lo,

  • The LVC device does not have TTL-compatible inputs.

To convert from 3.3 V to 5 V, use a level shifter like the SN74LVC1T45-EP. This device requires two supplies; if you want to run from a single 5 V supply, there are only four-channel devices like the CD74HCT125.

  • Thank you for your information, Clemens,

Not sure if there is 1 channel or 2 channel version for this -55 to 125 deg. C rated CD74HCT125 device or not? Thanks.

    yenwu lo

  • Tthere are only four-channel devices.
