Hi team,
I'd like to double-check if SN74AVCH2T45 could be used on UART(push-pull) communications or not.
Could you please check?
Thanks,
Jay

Assuming that "UART" means two signals going in opposite directions, this device will not be suitable.
The SN74AXC2T245 allows the two channels to have separate directions; the TXU0202 would be easier to use. (Neither of them has bus-hold inputs.)
Hello Jay,
Generally, UART has two signals, TX and RX, that go in opposite directions. AVCH2T45 does not allow you change direction on individual I/Os.
Like Clemens suggested, the SN74AXC2T245 or TXU0202 (smaller form factor) will work here.

Josh
