SN74LVC1G125: SPEC packaging confirmation

Part Number: SN74LVC1G125

Tool/software:

Hello TI team,

We use SN74LVC1G125, and the full part number is SN74LVC1G125DRYR

In the SPEC, there are two definitions for the DRY PACKAGE OUTLINE

Which one should I choose for this part number?

Thanks

  • There are two assembly sites for the DRY package. Both are correct; the footprints are compatible with each other.

  • Hello Clemens,

Thank you for your reply. For the control of the part, there should only be a single dimension specification. However, these two drawings have different dimension specifications, not just differences in assembly sites. (The body heights of the two are also different)

Could you clearly confirm whether this complies with DRY006A or DRY006B? (SN74LVC1G125DRYR)

  • The pads and the footprints have exactly the same size in both variants, except for pin 1, which is longer in variant A. So you probably want to use DRY0006A for your board.

  • Hello Clemens,

    Thank you for your reply.

The height definitions of the two are also different. Which one should I choose?

Could you clearly confirm whether this complies with DRY006A or DRY006B? (SN74LVC1G125DRYR)

    Thanks

  • There is no specified minimum. So over all possible devices, you only know that the maximum is 0.6 mm.
