CD14538B: CD14538B

Part Number: CD14538B

Tool/software:

Hello,

my application uses CD14538BF3A part.

We currently use original parts manufactured with Date code 1630. and Bought from ARROW,  official TI distributor.

We detect application failures because we measure 10 Ohms (Ten Ohms) between Pin 1 ( Cx1) and Pin 8 (Vss) . The same measurement 10 Oms between Pin 15 ( Cx2) and Pin 8 (Vss) .

According to Component logic diagram we find in the datasheet (from 2003), we should expect a measurement of 0 Ohms (Zero Ohms) because it seems to be short cut between Pin 1 v/s Pin 8  and Pin 1 v/s Pin 15.

My question : Do you think the measurement of 10 Ohms is OK according to the diagram ? Or we really should measure 0 Ohm ?

Maybe it exists a more recent datasheet in which this measure should be justified ? ( I don't find any more recent datasheet from 2003)

Thanks for your support.

Best Regards,

Ollivier.
