Tool/software:
Hello - we have been updating our database and have noticed that our system calls out the following device marking in relation to part TXS0102DCTR - 'NFE'
We also have records of the part with 35UT as the device marking for this part, and also note that the datasheet shows both 'NFE' and '35UT' as interchangeable device markings.
Is there a difference between parts marked with '35UT' or 'NFE' - or was this device changed at some point?
Thank you
Craig Earl
Hi Craig,
Yes- both part markings belong to TXS0102 and in-line with datasheet specs. See part marking lookup tool: https://www.ti.com/packaging/en/docs/partlookup.tsp?partmarking=NFE

Jack
Hi Jack,
Thanks for your reply. I have already seen the datasheet and part marking info - I was trying to ascertain why the same part would physically show 35UT on one part but would physically show NFE on others. I was trying to figure out if that may be down to a different manufacturing location or something similar..?
Regards
Craig
Hi Craig,
Yes this is correct.
Please contact TI CSC: https://www.ti.com/info/customer-support.html for any further specific details, as this is a public thread.
Thanks,
Jack
Hi Jack - sorry - the only options that I can see to progress this take me back to the forum? Please advise (and thank you for your help so far). I am just trying to find a reason for the same man p/n having two options on the chip (35UT & NFE), and just need to know if this is because of a manufacturing location or date of production, or some other reason...
Hi Craig,
At a top level, the part marking differences for this device is due to manufacturing location. There is a "Contact Support" option with live chat/ support ticket option for non-technical queries that can provide further info as needed.
