LSF0204: Push pull operation GPIO UART, are output resistors neccesary?

Part Number: LSF0204

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am looking at a design using the LSF0204 for the following purpose:

Translate 2 GPIO unidirectional and UART Rx and Tx unidirectional (4 channels total).

The A port is at 3.3V, and the B port at 1.8V

1 GPIO and one UART translates A->B (3.3V to 1.8V) and the other GPIO and UART translates B->A (1.8V to 3.3V).

My question is, do the outputs need pull-up resistors of 1.8V and 3.3V, respectively? From the documentation, I understand the inputs will not need it, but I am unclear if the outputs will need it for push-pull operation.

Thanks in advance.
