TXB0102: Pspice model requirement

I would like to simulate the TXB0102DCUR which is bidirectional voltage level shifter it is not available in Pspice for simulation. It only has IBIS model can you able to provide me with the Pspice model or how can i simulate this IC.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there isn't a PSPICE model for this device due to its internal one-shot architecture. Please see FAQ:https://e2e.ti.com/support/logic-group/logic/f/logic-forum/787588/faq-why-is-there-no-pspice-model-for-a-monostable-multivibrator-device for additonal details. -

Note that the TXB-EVM is also available for evaluation supporting TXB0102.

I can understand why we can't simulate this Part. So there is no way to simulate this part am I right?

Hi Praveen,

There is the IBIS equivalent as well: TXB0102 IBIS Model (Rev. A), though the TXB-EVM is still best choice device evaluation under your system load conditions.

How can i use the IBIS Model for the simulation? Can i do it in Pspice? If not how can i use this IBIS Model

Hi Praveen,

Unfortunately, the IBIS model cannot be used in PSPICE. Is there any particular step that you require help in simulating the IBIS? Keysight ADS can be used here to simulate the IBIS models.

Hi Praveen,

Yes, Keysight ADS can be used here to simulate the IBIS models. See https://edadownload.software.keysight.com/eedl/ads/2011_01/pdf/ibis.pdf for how to import IBIS into the sim.
