TPLD1202: Smaller programmation connector

Hello,

We are analysing the potential usage of the TPLD devices which are really promising in terms of features and space integration.

However, the programmer is clearly too huge compared to the size of the RWB component, it would have been nice to have something way more integrated.

Do you have any smaller space solution ?

Are all the signals useful ?

    Hi Clément,

    The programmer is a tool for prototyping convenience. It is not intended to be part of the the final schematic. Once the TPLD device is permanently programmed using the programmer, it can be taken out of the socket and soldered to a customer board for prototyping. Once the customer is satisfied with the design, they can either program devices themselves using the programmer and EVM, or TI can program devices for them.
