The CDM ESD Ratings for SN74AHC541 (SCLS261Q= Rev.Q) is 1000V lower than the Rev.P specifications.
The Rev.P datasheet said +2000V.

Q1. What is the reason for the CDM value dropping by 1000V?
Q2. Does this mean that people are now more strict when it comes to handling devices?

    Hi Cafain,

    This is because there was an error in the revision P where the numbers for HBM and CDM were flipped. Revision Q fixed this, and made sure the numbers were in the correct spot on the datasheet.

    No changes to the device were made  between revision P and Q.
