Hi,

1)I need a 3channel NAND gate with enable pin feature and SOIC-14 package.Please help me to chose one.

2)Do TI have logic gates with both AND and NAND in same IC.If yes,could you please suggest one (SOIC-14 package preffered).

1. I am not aware of any such device. Add a 3-state buffer (e.g., SN74LVC1G125) after the NAND gate.

What is the actual problem you're trying to solve?

Hi Reshma,

1. We don't have any device that meets these exact requirements.

2. You could use one of our configurable logic gates, configuring one channel as an AND and one channel as a NAND: SN74AC3G99 Triple Ultra-Configurable Multiple-Function Gates With 3-State Outputs And Schmitt-Trigger Inputs datasheet (Rev. A)

Thank you Lyn.This seems useful.

But I am confused how these combinational gates are build using this single IC.I would like to build a circuit like the below figure using this IC.

I have 2 inputs and require a NAND gate and output of which will be used by 2 AND gates.

Hi Reshma,

You can accomplish all three gates with this one device. Each channel can be configured to be a different function/gate. To configure a channel as a NAND or AND gate, simply connect the inputs like shown:

If you connect the pins like this, you get the gate connections in your schematic:

PPWM-1A = PWM-1A AND (NOT PWM-1B)
PPWM-1B = (NOT PWM-1A) AND PWM-1B

Each output can be implemented with a single AND gate with an inverted input, i.e., SN74LVC1G97 (see figure 6 in its datasheet).

Hi Clemens,

Thank you for the solution. Do we have such an IC with 2 channels and SOIC-14 package? My requirement is to replace an SOIC-14 package from my current schematics and to replace it with this feature.

Configurable gates need additional pins for the configuration. There is no P2P device.
