Hey,

I'm using the TCA9803 to buffer the I2C signal from baseband to the TXS02324.

The software department requests the HW-ID and gets a plausible answer.
However, after receiving this response, communication with the TXS02324 is no longer possible.
The HW-ID can only be queried again after a power reset.

What is the slave address you're using for the TXS?

For read commands we use 79(h), for write command we use 78(h).

The addressing works even after the first successful readout. However, if you query again, the final query will no longer be answered.

As far as I can see on p. 7, the address byte is 7Ah/7Bh when the interrupt to the baseband is active.

The IRQ line is pulled to GND.

I'm just wondering how useful that is.

Hi Markus,

If IRQ is set to 0 then to read from the device the address is 0x79, and write to address is 0x78- this looks correct. Can we ensure the below conditions are followed?

To rule out of root of issue is signal integrity similar to previous E2E thread, it would be helpful to collect waveforms for further debugging as needed.

I can't get a lot of information out of the RESET STATE part, other than a power reset.

For now it's just about basic I2C communication with the chip.

SW is currently working on possible bugs.

I will be back with more information and/or waveform analysis.
