Dear teams,

I used TXB0108 drive relay,the circuit diagram is as follows.

I cannot drive the relay in actual use, and I feel that the driving ability is insufficient.

I was able to drive relays with LSF0108 before. Could you please help me see what the reason is?

The TXB has a drive strength of 20 µA. (The LSF is a passive switch; the output is driven low by the source device.)

What current does one relay need?

Hi Allen,

Clemens' is correct here, this is due to the auto-bidirectional capability of the device. It is designed to have weak DC drive to allow external inputs at A/B side to override the hold provided by the 4k series resistance.
