The 774 supports individual IO configurability and this architecture is only supported by AXC and AVC product family (up to 3.6V only)
The best solution I can recommend is using 4x SN74LXC1T45 which supports up to 5.5V signals.

The 145 specs a large switching delay from A to B. For example, at 5V it says min=1ns to max=44ns. Under what conditions you will see this delay change? Is it under full temperature range, voltage range and process variations? What if voltage and temperature were fixed - how much will this delay reduce by?

We will see worse propagation delay at higher temperatures and lower output voltage.
