Hi,

I am planning to use a "SN74LVC2G132DCUR" from TI, my requirement is to drive the 30mA current with each NAND gate output.

I am considered 2CH NAND gate as per datasheet it is mentioned if my VCC is 5V then output current is 32mA, is this for each NAND gate output or entire IC ?

Will this suit for my requirement ? if not please suggest any 2CH or 4CH (2 input) NAND gate with 30mA each gate output.

Please advise.

Hi Ganesh,

This is for the whole device. We do not have a modern device that can drive 60 mA from the whole device. To get this drive I would split this into two separate SN74LVC1G132.

These values are specified per pin. (The absolute maximum rating for the whole device is 100 mA.) This can work.

Please note that LVC outputs at 5 V have a typical output resistance of about 12 Ω; see the V_OL/V_OH specifications. To improve V_OL/V_OH, it might make sense to use multiple outputs in parallel, e.g., 2× SN74LVC2G132.
