For PN CD54ACT74 package J, I am looking for the thetaJC, bottom value. In the datasheet, this package is listed as orderable but there is no thermal rise information listed. Is this information available?

Hi Sudharsh,

Thanks for the info. I reviewed the document, but it only explains the differences in the various thermal resistances measured by TI. The component datasheet doesn't supply any information for the CERDIP J package, and I am specifically looking for the thetaJC,bottom b/c this is a space application, which makes thetaJA unusable. Can this part be tested to determine this information?

Hi Andrea,

I have not gotten the information back yet. TI has just started restructuring how we're handling this information internally. We had a dedicated employee who would generate thermal data for us, but now it's looking like we will have to generate it ourselves (in any case it's a little unclear at the moment). It might take some time before I can get this information to you.
