Tool/software:
The site says that SN74AXC is the newer/upgraded version of SN74AVC
for SN74AXC , the datasheet states there are integrated 71Kohm pull-down resistors on the I/Os, so "if an external Pull-Up is required, it should be no larger than 7Kohm to avoid contention"
There is no mention of pull-downs on the (older) SN74AVC device datasheet. Does the same restriction apply to it too?
