TPS53015: Inquiry Regarding 'R7' Value and Role in TPS53015 Recommended Circuit

Part Number: TPS53015

Tool/software:

Hi. I am referring to the recommended application circuit for the TPS53015 (Figure 18 in the datasheet) and have some questions regarding the resistor labeled R7.

Q1. In the reference schematic, R7 is shown as a 2.05Ω resistor. Could you please clarify the role this resistor plays in the circuit?

Q2. Would replacing R7 with a standard 2.0Ω or 2.1Ω ±1% resistor significantly affect the device’s performance or stability?

Thank you for your support.
