Hi Texas Instrument team, 

I am writing for an inquiry regarding PCN# 20220928001.1  (Add Cu as Alternative Wire Base Metal for Selected Device(s)
Change Notification / Sample Request).  


Our end customer, Medtronic is in progress reviewing this PCN and they had some question that need your advise. 

  • Please provide a rationale why there is no impact to the product when the material are changing from gold to cooper. 
  • Please provide a Certificate of Conformance for part SN74LVC1G08DBVR

    Hi Ched,

    1. At the bottom of the PCN there should be all of the qualifications that the new devices have gone through and conform to. 
        What impact does Medtronic think should be listed? There should be no functionality changes. 

    2. These are not made for commercial devices, only for automotive qualified devices.
