TPLD1201: Regarding the use of long-duration timing

Hi team,

My customer is considering the TPLD1201 for a specification that counts long durations of about 10 hours and inputs pulses at those intervals.

Is it possible to use a counter loop for generating long-duration timing?

Also, is there any data regarding the maximum interval for timing generation?

     Hi Kyohei,

    Yes, this is possible. You would likely need to feed counters into each other to reach a count of that duration. You can set the Clock Source of the second counter to the output of the first counter.
