Is CD54HC4060 performed PIND test at TI? I would like to know PIND Shock, Vibration and Frequency for it. if not, do we have cavity information, at least cavity height?

We do not do PIND tests. We could probably find the cavity information, but that depends on the package. What package are you looking at?

The part is CD54HC4060F3A (16 Ld CERDIP). The part is also marked as 5962-8768001EA.

Hi Thanh,

For this part, the cavity is 0.160 x 0.250 mm length/width

The cavity has a max height of 0.025mm

Actually, it's not clear to me what the seal glass on the package might collapse up to. The cavity height could be just 0.01mm. It's hard for me to determine (I'm not a packaging engineer).

Malcolm,

This is DIP and I guess cavity height should be more than 0.89mm. The CFP-14 (SMT) cavity height is 0.89mm, P/N 5962-8773901DA, according to Paul Grohe. Could you please check again? Thanks.

Hi Thanh,

I was reading the units wrong (they order in which the units are displayed is flipped sometimes). Just convert the measurements from inches to mm, so the cavity is:

6.35 L x 4.06 W x 0.25 H, all in mm.

Yes, these numbers are correct.
