CD4046B: CD4046BSNR Frequency Range

Hi,

We want to use CD4046BSNR for an application working between 1 to 2 kHz. We have taken trial and its working. But we are not able to understand why mouser has specified 300 kHz as the minimum frequency for this product as per the following link:

    Amit,

    The minimum output frequency as specified in the datasheet is 300kHz. This does not mean that the device will not work below this frequency, but rather that we cannot guarantee that the device will meet all datasheet behaviors when the specification is violated.
