SN74LVC1G74: Inquiry on Static and Timing Characteristics of SN74LVC1G74 at Intermediate VCC Range (2.0 V – 2.3 V)

Part Number: SN74LVC1G74

Tool/software:

Dear Customer Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently evaluating your product, SN74LVC1G74 (or compatible part), for use in a battery-powered circuit where the supply voltage may range from 2.0 V to 3.3 V during operation.

I understand from the datasheet that the recommended operating VCC range is 1.65 V to 5.5 V, and static/timing characteristics are typically specified at 1.65 V, 3.3 V, and 5.0 V.

I would like to ask the following regarding the 2.0 V to 2.3 V supply range:

  1. Are the VIH / VIL / VOH / VOL thresholds guaranteed at this VCC range?

  2. Are the setup time (tsu), hold time (th), and propagation delay (tpd) guaranteed at these voltages?

  3. If not explicitly guaranteed, do you have characterization data or application notes covering this range?

This range is critical in our application because the VCC voltage slowly ramps from 2.0 V during battery operation, and the circuit relies on correct D flip-flop logic behavior during that transition.

I would appreciate any information or guidance you can provide on this matter.

Thank you very much for your support.

Best regards,

K.Morita
