Dear Sir/Madam,
We are planning to use 16-bit Buffer IC SN74LVC16T245DGGR in our design as a replacement for AVC part (PI74AVC164245AE).
Kindly find the following queries:
1) Can you share the difference between AVC & LVC parts?
2) Does SN74LVC16T245DGGR & PI74AVC164245AE share the same landpattern, dimension, package & pinouts?
3) If not can you share the alternate part for PI74AVC164245AE?

    Hello Rich,

    The closer match would be SN74AVCA164245. Both AVC and LVC devices from TI are pinout compatible with PI74AVC164245AE.

    The LVC part (TI) supports a wider supply voltage range (1.65V to 5.5V) and higher output current (32mA at 5.5V) while the AVC part supports supply voltages from 1.4V to 3.6V and lower output current (12mA at 3.3V)

    Otherwise most of the parameters between TI and Diode devices are similar. Thanks!
