Hi team,

Ti website does have MTBF(Mean time between failures) data. But customer needs MTTFD(Mean time to dangerous failure) data.

Could you please help provide MTTFD data or are there any formula that can convert MTBF data to MTTFD.

The testing team hasn't heard of MTTFd. Is this a standard metric? What qualifies as a dangerous failure?

Hi Gary,

We don't record MTTFd for our parts. Whether a failure is considered dangerous would depend on your system surrounding the part. The mean time between dangerous failures should be less than the mean time between total failures, so I recommend using MTTF.
