Is TPLD801 able to replace of the TPS3422 function? Customer would like to do the push button function with timing adustable.

Hi Brian,

There is plenty of stock for the TPLD801 beyond what is listed on TI.com.

The part number on TI.com is for blank devices, so it is unusual for a customer to order a significant quantity of devices off of TI.com. Programmed devices are given a custom part number, and we have plenty of stock for that which is not reflected on the website.

As previous discussion, customer wants the TPLD801 to perform the following functions as TPS3422.

Is that possible team able to design it? And to get sample with programming code.

=========================================================================

1. 3 Input Selection，3 second, 6 second and 9 second

2. 1 output with Latch function, open collector

3. second Input Logic Requirement

The logic for the 6 and 9-second inputs is identical to the 3-second requirement, except for the press duration.

Sure, we will start working on this for you. Just FYI, but with the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up, we are probably looking at two weeks here. The ordering process is simple, they can order the design through the software and the rest is automated.

Hi Brian,

Can you let me know if this design is what you are looking for? Blue is the input, green is the output. Once the blue pulse is longer than 3 seconds, the output toggles high or low depending on its initial state. I can easily extend this design to the other two inputs and we can fit everything on a single TPLD801.

The yellow signal shows when we detect the input is longer than 3 seconds and toggle the output inside the device.
