SN54AC14: Lid Grounding

Hi Team,

I am trying to find out more information on the lid for the part 5962-87624012A, which is the same as the part SNJ54AC14FK. DSCC drawing shows that this part has a case typing of CQCC1-N20 in a leadless package. I am trying to find out if this package has an isolated, or grounded lid and if the lid will need a drain wire to keep from accruing a charge. Thanks in advance!

Hi Jejomar,

Thank you for your patience. I've talked to the packaging team to confirm. This device has a ceramic lid. Therefore the lid is not grounded and no “charging” will occur to the lid. Hope this helps.
